ELECTRIC DELIGHTS

Dopo le esperienze adolescenziali in cui mi ero divertito a partecipare a trasmissioni radiofoniche locali fatte apposta per dare spazio agli ascoltatori più affezionati, nelle quali già allora suonavo spesso musica elettronica, nel 2013 mi è stata offerta l’opportunità di condurre una trasmissione tutta mia da parte della web radio americana ‘Fuego Beats’

Mi è stata anche concessa carta bianca su come strutturarla, e ne ho approfittato per mettere in pratica un’idea che mi frullava in testa già da vent’anni, ossia proporre in ogni puntata brani di musica elettronica dagli ’70 (in alcuni episodi anche prima) fino ai giorni nostri.

L’altra regola era che ogni nazione sarebbe stata rappresentata da un solo brano, e proprio queste due regole sono il motivo per cui il motto della trasmissione, ripetuto all’inizio di ogni episodio, era: “Alla scoperta della musica elettronica in un viaggio nel tempo e nello spazio”.

‘Electric Delights’ è andato in onda per due stagioni, nel 2013 e 2014, poi il mio ritorno in Italia non mi ha più permesso di avere il tempo necessario per preparare quella terza stagione che non escludo possa essere realizzata, in un futuro più o meno lontano.
